Great Writing, the UK's international Creative Writing Conference invites
papers/creative work/panel suggestions for this 12th Year
Conference.

GREAT WRITING 2009

Friday 19th June - Sunday 21st June 2009

BANGOR UNIVERSITY , WALES, UNITED KINGDOM


The organizers will consider creative work as well as papers on creative
writing teaching, creative writing theory and method, and on contemporary
writers and their work.

All suggestions for presentations (1 person), or panels (3 people), are very
welcome.

We invite “presenters” to join in this exciting 12th year
conference by showcasing the best range of creative and critical
practices in Creative Writing.

Ideas for critical presentations might include
papers relating to: creative writing teaching methods and techniques; issues in
creative writing research; contemporary writers and their work; history and
context; structure, style and technique; technology; aesthetics and the writing
arts, creative writing and the other arts. And more! Ideas for presentations of
Creative Work are open!

Critical papers or creative presentations: 20 minutes in length, plus 10
minutes introduction or questions.

To celebrate this exciting 12th Year of Great Writing, “New Writing: the
International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing”
will be a launching a brand new cover design.. The journal is
available from Routledge worldwide
